What is included in the Occupational Health and Safety service?
Each proposal for the management and organization of Occupational Health and Safety services is personalized and adapted to the needs of each client.
Below is a list intended to describe some of the items that may often be included in our service proposal:
a) Admission examinations, periodic examinations and occasional examinations (Article 108 of Law 102/2009) are carried out by specialists in occupational medicine for all workers;
b) Regular visits to the workplace by the occupational health team, with a report;
c) Analysis, characterization and referral of occupational disease situations;
d) Processing clinical information for insurance companies in conjunction with SEPRI – Claims Medicine;
e) Annual presentation of statistical reports on the activity, which make it possible to see, in particular: a reduction in the percentage of smokers; a reduction in the percentage of workers with obesity, among other personalized parameters;
f) Developing Awareness Campaigns, which may include: issuing a newsletter, webinars with clinical guests, developing informative posters and flyers to raise awareness in the workplace.
h) Drawing up an annual activity report, in accordance with the law, to be sent to the competent authorities;
i) Possibility of an integrated Occupational Health service with a wide range of specialties: General Practice, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Nutrition, Orthopedics, Pedology, ENT, Optometry, among others;
j) Assessment and characterization of risks by workstation;
k) Implementation of action plans, following the risk assessment, defining priorities for action;
l) Participation in and monitoring of audits/inspections carried out by the competent authorities (ACT, DGS, Certifying Entities);
m) Investigating accidents at work, establishing the cause/effect relationship, recommending preventive/corrective measures to avoid recurrences;
n) Consultation with workers on OSH;
o) Training workers in First Aid and Safety at Work, according to the company’s needs and the law in force;
