We spoke to Safety Technicians Leonila Fernandes and Rita Leite about the importance of the occupational safety technician in companies in any sector of activity, highlighting the increased importance in the agricultural sector, industry and construction.

Every year, several accidents at work in the construction sector are recorded by ACT, and it is the companies’ duty to increase the quality of safety at work in order to prevent accidents.
To help companies meet this objective, Leonila and Rita talk about prevention, risk assessment, implementing concrete safety measures on site and how to act in the event of an accident in order to prevent recurrences.
We also talk about the importance of the Site Health and Safety Plan (SHSP) and functions such as Site Safety Coordination and Site Monitoring.
